A/V CLUB THEATER SPECIAL: GLEN OR GLENDA (1953)

Ed Wood, Jr. wrote, directed, and starred in this deeply personal film about his own life as a crossdresser. Inspired by Christine Jorgenson's story, the movie explores deep and sometimes controversial (especially by 1953 standards) topics like gender reassignment, fetishes, sexuality, and acceptance. Join us for this surprisingly progressive and highly enjoyable movie and help us celebrate Ed's 100th Birthday!
