A/V CLUB THEATER SPECIAL: EATING RAOUL (1982)

Cult movie legends Mary Woronov (Rock and Roll High School, Death Race 2000, Chelsea Girls) and Paul Bartel (Chopping Mall, Hollywood Boulevard, Piranha), who also directs this gem, star as Paul and Mary Bland, two uptight and prudish normies who just can't abide all of the debauchery in the modern world. They need money to open a restaurant, so they come up with a money making scheme that will also rid the world of the sexual deviants they despise. This deeply dark satire finds the line of decency and then dives headfirst right over it. Filled with laughs and loads of familiar faces, you'll find yourself wanting to invite Raoul over for Thanksgiving dinner.
