We’ll see him hoofing it with Joan Fontaine, Rita Hayworth (who just may have been his favorite), Paulette Goddard, Eleanor Powell (whose tap dancing intimidated him), Cyd Charisse, and more. Mark Tiarks studied opera and theater in London as a Watson Foundation fellow, then served in leadership positions with Opera Theatre of Saint Louis, Chicago’s Court Theater, Chicago Opera Theater, and the Santa Fe Opera. He’s a lousy dancer but he loves musical comedies.
