RENESAN: Fascinating Backstories of Songs

A RENESAN in the Railyard presentation in collaboration with the Jean Cocteau Cinema: Fascinating Backstories of Songs You Know and Love. This engaging presentation unearths the often-convoluted paths some of your favorite songs took to become popular. The Lion Sleeps Tonight, Good Lovin’, Blue Moon, Mr. Tambourine Man, Louie Louie, and Mr. Bojangles are just a few examples. Join us in a musical adventure that includes song samples and visuals. Music has been part of Dick Rosemont’s life since an early age. He formed his first rock band in 1963, has hosted radio programs on public and commercial stations, had articles published in various music journals, and still buys and sells record albums.
